Looks like we are going for a walk round Rutland water, Sunday morning and try it in sub 4hrs.
Should be fun

Route mapping 101
Too map or not to map that is the question.
Having to work out a few turn back points if any issues arise on the challenge.
Taxi has been called so we can get around with minimal fuss.

Things are moving along well
Time is passing on now and we are looking down the barrel of
the challenge, with it being only 51 days away.
Can’t wait for it to be here all the training can be put into
practise.
This week I got my act into gear and started the
sponsorship off and set up the fund raising site at Virgin money giving http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/KGH.Trekking,
I just hope all this effort was worth it.
We are looking to raise about £1000 plus but I would
love to get well beyond that figure, posters are done and yet again my dyslexia
got the better of me and I did my usual spelling mistake I accept by now it’s
my trade mark and i am sure it makes people read and take it in more.
Our next training event will be on the 19/20th of this month
and we can test doing 2 walks over 2 consecutive days, really testing the
old legs and getting a feel for what you will be like on the second day.
I have started a twitter page for the group and we at last
have a name the @KGH-trekkers and
all the links are on the fund raising site so please visit us and follow all
our escapades during the next few months.
